The beach at Ballota

This is classified as a natural beach, perfectly shell shaped and some 350 metres in length. It is close to the village of Cué. From the village you continue along the road, heading east, away from Llanes. This is the road which goes up to the viewing point at La Boriza. You turn off to the left before you reach the lookout point along a footpath which takes you to the beach. There are life guards, a Red Cross post, a beach cleaning service, waste bins and a refreshments stall in season.
